Business Incubators, Accelerators, and Performance of Technology-Based Ventures: A Systematic Literature Review

This review aims to identify the typologies of business incubators (BI) and accelerators (BA) define a taxonomy integrating both BI’s BA’s characteristics services portfolio, facilitating adoption open innovation practices. A systematic literature (SLR) was carried out encompassing research topic concerning relationship between incubation structures performance technology-based ventures. comprehensive SLR encompasses total 1614 publications, aiming advance knowledge on BI BA. allowed for identification current trends future challenges, as well most important authors, journals in this framework. establishes new BA, based upon three main pillars: human capital, social organizational capital.
